Providing Educational Psychology Services for Schools in Michigan & Illinois


Conduct psychological-educational evaluations to assess the cognitive functioning, academic achievement, behavior, and social-emotional functioning skills of elementary through high school-age students
Examine the development of preschool-age children using the Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment System
Conduct formal classroom-based observations
Identify learning and other school-based disabilities within the realm of special education
Complete comprehensive psychological evaluation reports
Facilitate Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings
Present testing findings and provide recommendations regarding special education eligibility, goals, objectives, and accommodations
Evaluate the effectiveness of school-based interventions and programs to improve educational outcomes for students
Conduct research to inform best practices in special education
Conduct individual therapy and group counseling services
Facilitate play-based therapy sessions
Conduct crisis intervention team meetings
Facilitate interpersonal skill building and conflict resolution training sessions
Conduct executive function coaching sessions
Perform Functional Behavioral Analyses (FBA)
Develop and implement behavior modification strategies consistent with the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework
Facilitate Response to Intervention (RTI) and PBIS meetings
Oversee the identification and collection of student progress-monitoring data
Advocate for student’s rights and ensure they receive appropriate school-based mental health services


Conduct professional development meetings and teacher training sessions regarding the identification and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in schools
Collaborate with administrators regarding the development and implementation of school-wide programs and policies
Provide teacher consultation regarding the usage of evidence-based instructional methods and classroom management practices
Provide consultation to parents regarding empirically based academic programs, interventions, and educational placement
Support students and families in planning for transitions to post-secondary education or employment
Assist parents in understanding their child's needs and the special education process to help them advocate for their child
Connect families with local community agencies for home-based support services.
